There are Sonny's BBQs all over the place, but two good local joints are David's and Ed's, which serves the North Florida specialty of BBQ goat. Also in Gainesville (or at least the last time I was there) is Mama Lo's, a tiny meat-and-three lunch spot. Real home cookin'! Bob Wells
