Two recommendations for South Beach  Miami:
Joe's Stonecrab House-  seafood, stonecrabs a must The Forge- seafood or steaks, request to sit in the courtyard
     Both of these places are fine dining, guys should wear a jacket.
   They are both on the expensive side but are worth it. I didn't read any

    Zagat reviews on either but would imagine they are 25+.     When I was

    there during the Superbowl, I saw many celebs at both of these places.

If you're planning on going to Joe's Stonecrabs, plan on waiting a very, very long time (can you say "hours") if you go after 6:00pm.  Try getting there earlier if you go.

Also try A Mano (Southbeach),  Mango's (In Las Olas - Fort Lauderdale), La Vielle Maison (excellent  - 5 star - pricey in Boca Raton).  There are tons of restaurants on Las Olas blvd in Fort Lauderdale including a super sushi restaurant.
