There's a terrific restaurant in, of all places, the Sheraton Plaza Hotel in the Florida Mall. It's intimate, lovely atmosphere, fine food, and excellent service. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name, something like "Gran Classe" or some other pseudo-French name. In spite of its location, it's a find. Also, in the surrounding vicinity there are nothing but franchises for what seems like miles and miles. It's an oasis in the wilderness.

Enjoy

I've only been there once but I ate at Charlies lobster House. It was very good but like the whole area relatively expensive but not bad for good seafood. It's on they main tourist road about a mile from the convention center. Near it is a crab cooker or crab house (I can't remember exactly) but it was really good seafood for lunch. There's also a chinese type restaurant two blocks from the convention center (I forget it's name) but it is HUGE and really good food but alas it is very expensie. Typical dishes will run $20, but it was very good, and very busy (seemed to be a tour bus stop). Nothing else in that area was very impressive.
