In addition to JJK's advice, two excellent and creative (and not overly expensive) Northern Italian eateries in the area -- both associated with chef Richard Whittaker, a top-notch cook -- are Cucina in West Palm and Rocco's in North Palm. Also, even if your mom doesn't go for seafood, the Reef Grill in Juno Beach might just change her mind. Outstanding!
