Jade Garden, across from the Galleria Mall is quite good, as is Four Seasons (4200 block of N Federal Hwy). Bamboo Gardens across fron the 163rd St. Mall in North Miami Beach is worth the trip. Their rost duck is excellent, but order it chinese style (cool). For authentic Chinese food, try Silver Pond, around 4301 N State Road 7 (US 441) in Fort Lauderdale. If you are out at the Sawgrass Mills Mall, try the chinese resturant next to the BrandsMart for a Dim Sum lunch. The Chinese Fishing Village just west of I-95 at Stirling Road in Hollywood has an excellent buffet, especially for dinner. The Mai Kai's food is quite good, but not great, is quite expensive, but the show and the atmosphere makes it a good see once splurge. Actually, there are many good Chinese resturants in Broward County. There is also a new Korean resturant in Mirimar, on S. SR 7, south of Mirimar bvld. I had lunch there the other day and it was quite good. The best place for sushi is Su-Shin, around 4100 N UNiversity Drive in Sunrise.
