Personally, I LOVE UNO's. Also, some of the restaurants in the hotels are nice. We enjoyed the one in Dixie Landings. Others are fancier. If you want to spend big bucks, go to Albert and Victoria's in the Grand Floridian.

Re: Where to eat in Orlando.
The Mill is a microbrewery across the street from Universal Studios on Kirkman (southwest Orlando) that's popular with locals, especially because they put nutritional information on their menu. Pebbles, a 5-restaurant chain, is also a great favorite for casual but slightly upscale fare. And I need to decloak a little - I work for General Mills Restaurants, which are all based in Orlando. We are home to Red Lobster, Olive Garden and China Coast. You probably have these chains at home, but because we're based here, we test lots of decor, new entree and service ideas in Orlando. If you like The Olive Garden, visit the one on W.50 (Hiawassee Road) or Sand Lake Road for a different experience - new design, new uniforms, and entrees that aren't available in the rest of the country. If you want more specific info, I'm aol: Kimbersh.

There's a Bubble Room in Orlando. Although I haven't eaten in the Orlando restaurant I've eaten at the one in Captiva Island. The food was great and it's a really fun restaurant.

Well, we ate at The Bubble Room in Orlando a couple of years ago and I was not really impressed with the food. Big portions, yes, but not great food. Even the restaurant critic on Prodigy who recommended it to me (John Mariani) admits that the draw is more the atmosphere than the quality of the food. Also, they are about 30-45 minutes away from Disney World, which is what most people think of when they ask for places around Orlando, so it's a long ride for not really great food.

We are going back to WDW in 3 weeks and the 2 places I will definitely make it my point to eat at are Chatham's Place (not too far from Universal, in a business/residential area) and the Portobello Yacht Club, at Pleasure Island at WDW.

Does anyone have the Orlando Entertainment '95 book yet? Are either of these places (or other good places near WDW) on the card?
