One of the best restaurants I ever ate in is a place in Gainsville, Florida (home of the University of Florida Gators). It is called Leonardo's 706. A fantastic italian restaurant. I have made two trips down there on business and on both trips, we ate there almost every night we were there. What I find interesting about the place is the wait staff. Consisting of fashion conscience university students, you feel like you're in an MTV music video. The place is small and the decor is nothing fancy, you feel comfortable there in jeans and a t-shirt. I hightly recommend this restaurant to those travelling to Gainsville or Jacksonville (about two hour drive away, I think). If anyone else has eaten there, I'd love to hear your opinion of 706.
