I highly recommend 15th Street Fisheries for some of the best seafood and service anywhere in the city. Definitely consider the tuna-fillet mignon.

A nice touch would be to get there via water taxi. $15 for an all-day pass to go up and down the Intracoastal.

It depends on what type of food you're looking for and how much you want to spend. For example, California Cafe next to Pier 66 is lovely, very good California-style food, etc., but is pretty expensive. So is Marks Las Olas, which also has very good food - but no view (and lots of "attitude." Then again, there are plenty of excellent restaurants that are a lot more reasonable. JBB
