If you're going to be driving from New England to Washington, DC. there is a Krispy Kreme on the way. Go south on I95. When you get to Delaware, take the first exit in Delaware, which is Rout 495 and 92 Naaman's Road west. Go about 5 miles and make a left turn onto Concord Pike, Route 202 South. Drive another five miles or so and you'll see the Krispy Kreme on your left. This is about ten miles out of your way, but for a fresh hot Krispy Kreme doughnut, its well worth the extra drive. You can also keep going south on Route 202 and end up on I95 again without back tracking the way you came.
