You won't go wrong with any of these three:

Tante Louise -- Updated and Traditional French in a cozy, renovated Victorian-style house -- on E. Colfax east of Colorado (don't let the neighborhood scare you off).

European Cafe -- 15th and Market, Downtown. be sure to ask for a booth upstairs

Cliff Young's -- Strolling violins, crisp white tablecloths, impeccable service, great New American food. Tell them when you make the reservation that it is for an anniversary, and ask for one of the big seashell booths along the west wall. 17th & Pennsylvania

My first reccomendation would definitely be Tante Louise Restaurant
at 4900 E. Colfax. The food is interesting and very well prepared. The service and atmosphere are first rate, and romantic. Entrees are from $18 to $25. One of Denver's best.
A slightly more downscaled restaurant, yet with good food and
romantic decor would be Highlands Garden Cafe on 32nd and Perry. Entrees here range from $9 to $16. A quaint, nice place; very small however--call early to get in. Have Fun, Jeff S. Denver, CO.
