Go to Fort Collins and try the Charco Broiler on HWY 14 between downtown and I-25. I used to work there in high school, that place serves some of the best steaks in Colorado. We used to have people drive all the way from Scottsbluff NE to eat there on Friday night.

Aslo try the El Burrito in Ft. Collins. Excellent Mexican food! Kind of place that used to get regular visits from the health dept, but the chorizo burritos can't be beat.

In Denver:
      Cliff Young's
      European Cafe
      Tante Louise
      Strings

In Boulder:
      Flagstaff House
      John's
      European Cafe
      Q's

In Morrison (near Golden):
The Fort - a very Western restaurant with a fantastic view and
                  great food

You'll have the check the phone book for the numbers; I don't have them. All the places listed consistenly get very good reviews from anyone I know. I have personally eaten at the Flagstaff, John's, the European Cafe in Boulder and the Fort. All these restaurants run on the pricey side with "the skys the limit" if you go hog wild with the wine. Of course pricey in Denver is fairly reasonable, say $60/person with a nice bottle of wine. It is often cheaper than that.
