For Mexican, try La Casita on South Nevada in Colorado Springs. It's a *very* informal place (you go to the counter and order and pick up your own food when they call your number), but the food is great (excellent fajitas with hot homemade tortillas). For Italian, I like Izzi's or Antonio's (both in Colorado Springs - Antonio's is a bit formal, but the food is good!). Richard Stern [email removed]

*****Advice Wanted on Restaurants in Denver/Colorado Springs Area
Remington's at the Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort is the other 5-star restaurant in town (besides the previously mentioned Broadmoor) and a little cheaper. It's also quite good. --tom
I lived in Castle Rock for a year and i highly reccommend the "Stone Church". It is an old church converted into a restaurant. Its a bit pricy and reservations are recommended. Castle Rock is 37 miles north of Colorado Springs (Air Force Academy) and 15 miles south of the Denver Tech Center (Arapahoe Road or Highlands Ranch). Good Luck.
