I had a great and not expensive meal at Mamma Teresa's (Mama Teresa's?) on Somerset Street West. Suspect this is more central than "west". The fawning Italian waiters were a source of entertainment too! (wew were a party of 4 women). The Ottawa area has a freenet, the National Capital freenet. Sorry I doin't have a telnet address for it here at home, but if you can't find it email me back and I can get it from work. Happy eating! Andrea

Re: restaurants in ottawa If this gets on twice I'm sorry my software crashed and I'm trying again Hi Kay my name is Tom, we have a restaurant in the east end of ottawa near the Price Club I just wanted to tell you about it. We are Louis Steakhouse and Seafood. We also have an Italian Menu with great Pizza. Call 741-2130 for Directions. Now, depending an where you are Whispers Too on Richmond Rd. is a good locals bar & restaurant. Moderately priced and live entertrainment on wednesdays with Dave Kahlil our local piano man. There is one brew pub in ottawa that I know of but it's not big, It is in the old Skyline Hotel ( the hotel has a new name but i forget what it is) There are not a lot of brew pubs in ottawa due to the special conditions around liquor licences. Happy restauranting
