In recent years, dinning out in Halifax has seen a revolution from the fast food places to the restaurants that offer fine food and GREAT atmosphere. The TOP of my and my wife's list is The Chech Inn, on Blowers Street. This spot is small and serves a choice of Eastern European Cuisine that should please any gourmand. Other restaurants of choice include: La Cave, also on Blowers Street. Thackerys on Spring Garden Road. and Lawrence of Oregano, on Agricola Street (or very near that street) The Five Fishermen, on the Water Front. There are so many others from Viet Namese to Greek.
