A few of my current favorites are Just Pasta - Bryant St. Fiddleheads - Allen St. - not really a family place, but great food ZuZons - Main St. - probably the most "family friendly" of the US places. Roycroft Inn - East Aurora NY has gotten some great recommendations, but I've never been myself. Ft. Erie, Ont has a superb Chinese rest called Ming Tey on River Rd. They close for most of the WInter, but reopen in mid February. I'm told that Lewiston, NY has several nice restaraunts
