About GVDF

If you have been on the Internet long enough, you would notice that there are lots of web pages provided by restaurants. However, you can usually find menus and addresses.

This experience can be dull and dry, and it hardly takes full advantage of this great medium.. We need a place where restaurant goers can talk to each other about which restaurants offer better meals or services. This is the reason for this experiement, a discussion forum using a web-based "message board." This forum is neatly packaged to let you share your dining experiences with others in the cyberspace. There is no need to submit your reviews to editors!

For visitors to Vancouver, this forum can be a great place to start. You can browse through reviews done by local restaurant goers.

Features of GVDF
* Industry Announcements: restaurants and related organizations can submit press releases to my site (FREE!)
* Reviewers' Forum: restaurant goers can post their own reviews for the world to see
* Tourist Guestbook: web-surfers and "tourists" can leave a message
* Take a Vote: web-surfers can take a vote on interesting issues (coming soon)
* Celebrity Interviews: we will try to interview some local celebrity cooks and restaurant owners. Send us your suggestions. Or better, send us an audio interview via e-mail in QuickTime audio format. We can give you credit by putting your name on the page. (FREE!)
* Deals and Specials: restaurants can submit information about special promotions (FREE!)
* Visitors' Guides: links to online visitors' guides
* Restaurant Links: links to local restaurant web sites (FREE for independent restaurant sites! To save space, if you have already joined a "restaurant guide," just send us the web address of the restaurant guide. We do not have enough resources to add every restaurant listed under a "restaurant guide.")
