I was in Toronto last week and was taken to a real hole in wall off Adelaide Street called Zoupy's Deli. There I had the most heavenly sliced hot meat sandwich refered to as Montreal Smoked Meat. It is sliced like pastrami, and is obvioulsy in the brisket/corned beef family, but lighter in flavor, color and a silky texture. Has anyone ever heard or seen of this before. A sheer delight!
