The best Italian food I have ever tasted is at place called Palazzio. It's located in Montecito (about 15 min. south of Downtown SB). The wine is self-serve (on your honour), and Saturday night's dinner comes complete with a sing-a-long of the classic "That's Amore!" The price is resonable ($10/person) and the servings are very generous.
