Remember those billboards: Palo Alto without the Attitude? At the time I thought that was a little premature for Redwood City, but this weekend I found a restaurant that lives up to that claim: Pazzo, on Broadway, next door to City Pub. The food is Italian, with a nice range of rich-->light entrees. The service is pretty good, but our waiter was so effusive as to have us in giggles the rest of the evening. "EXCELLENT wine choice, sir." "I DO HOPE you enjoy your meal!" "Thank you SO MUCH for lingering afterwards, have a LOVELY evening!" Ah, the price range is within Palo Alto standards as well, but we had a nice dinner for 3 with wine for $70.
