Wanted: SBay Mexican (authentic)

Hi,

I am looking for recommendations for a South Bay Mexican restaurant located in MV, SV, Cupertino, Santa Clara, or north/west San Jose or possibly Campbell. (prefer *very* close to 85 & 280).

Requirements: casual. Real Mexican food (not El Torito, or Pedro's), especially northern Sonora style. A good little taqueria with a large selection is fine. *not* someplace that coats everything in sour cream or guacamole. What I am looking for: great chili rellenos, great tacos, great chimichangas, great enchiladas. (Sopapillas are a plus -- remember that thread? I posted recipes, but I do not want to make them and I want my wife to experience them once without returning to Tucson). If they will take a "take out" order over the telephone, that is a plus too.

I went to a *great* little taqueria in Hayweird last month, on Jackson (I think) on the S. side of the road, just E of 880, in a big shopping center. The food there was excellent. Nothing fancy, just great food. Surely there has to be someplace like that in the Sunnyvale area.

Thanks much.
