Yes, the only place I know to get vegetarian dim sum here is the veg dim sum restaurant on Grant in SF (name temporarily escapes me) it's across the street from the kosher vegetarian chinese restaurant with the Taoist temple on the top floor. Also, if you call in advance the Hong Kong Flower Lounge will prepare veg dim sum for a group. (or at least they would a five years ago after Dean Ornish was featured at the restaurant on a local TV show).

True, they'd have to order off a menu and skip the dim sum stuff.

Continuing the asian veg tangent:

Although Miyake's is often considered poor sushi, they have the hugest vegetarian selection of any sushi restaurant I've been to, even better than Homa's (the brown rice sushi place in Palo Alto). And so cheap, too! They've taken yamaimo (bleah) and enoki (this I liked) off the menu, but there must be over a dozen vegetarian selections still. Most sushi restaurants limit the poor vegetarian to cucumber, avocado, and egg.
