I am not a fan of sweet breakfast foods. And I rarely want a filling omelette or a full carbo load first thing. Cheese and other savory but lighter foods would be so great. Fattoush, in Noe Valley, offers a small Middle Eastern menu at brunch. My husband and I often split a grilled fish wrap (not the right name, sorry) and a fattoush salad for breakfast. And I am excited to try the recently posted place near Union Square that serves traditional Japanese breakfast. Everywhere else in the world one can find "American" breakfast, it would be so great to find European and Asian breakfast foods here. -Amalia
