My favorite brunch place in the area, though it's a bit pricey, is Late for the Train in Menlo Park, which has creative and tasty (Moosewood-y) brunches, for omnivores and carnivores. Pretty setting too. In Town and Country Village in PA (at El Camino and Embarcadero), I've found the Cookbook Restaurant to have pretty decent brunch. There's always Hobee's, which seems to be the most popular place around, though I never go in the mornings because I'm not particularly into sitting outside for an hour when I'm hungry.
