Maharajah is on Castro St., a few doors down from Sue's -- on the west/northwest side of the street, between Villa & Dana Streets. Veeraswami's... sigh... Veeraswami's is in London, known far and wide (I first heard about it in Hong Kong) as one of the world's top Indian restaurants. Reservations required months in advance. It really blew the top of my head off when I went there (in 1987) -- I didn't know any food could taste that good. I've only had two delirium-inducing meals in my life, & that was one.
