We were there last Friday night (we appeared at 6 without a reservation) and had a similar experience - the food was quite tasty but not exquisite (mussels cooked in a ginger broth and onion-filled roti to start, salmon cooked in a banana leaf and nasi goreng as entrees) and the service was uneven. We had a garrulous but pleasant waiter who disappeared when it was time to get our check, and we waited and waited ... Two cocktails (ginger-infused martini and a vodka ginger lemonade), 2 starters and two entrees came to about $55. Leslie
