At least one place to get sopapillas is La Milpa, on Milpitas Blvd in Milpitas. It's one of my two favorite Mexican restaurants, the other being El Faro in downtown Sunnyvale. Both places are owned by the same family (no WONDER the food's great in both places! :-) but only La Milpa has sopapillas. :-(
