We like the place a lot, and go there every time we visit San Francisco. One of Reed Heron's restaurants. It's very good, offers modern, creative food preparations, and it's a lot of fun, with a young, involved wait staff. Good, varied, well-chosen wine list, reasonably priced for SF. It's also a fun place to sit at one of the counter seats facing the open kitchen. And if you're into drinking, they have an excellent assortment, with around 50 single malts, including a few specialist (Cadenhead, Blackadder, etc.) bottlings.

And then you can wander a block down Columbus Ave. to Cafe Greco or a dozen other places and have excellent espresso while street-watching... 8;)

Regards,
Larry
