Also, the best northern Italian restaurant outside of Italy in also on Harbor Blvd. in Garden Grove, two or three miles south of Disneyland. It is called Venezia and is run by a guy who used to be the head chef at one of those fancy Beverly Hills restaurants where all the stars eat. Dining in his restaurant is an experience, not just for the incredible food, but for the great service and attention heaped on you while you are there. We live in San Diego and always make a point of eating at his restaurant whenever we head north. Lois

Belisle's is a perennial favorite, just blocks away from the Marriott. Portions are HUGE, and could feed a normal person for a couple of days! Food quality is OK to good...the kids will love it. Prices seem high until you see what you get. Definitely worth checking out. Haven't checked out the ethnic possibilities in the area, though there are many. I used to live in the D'land area years ago, and the was a Chines place called Wok Inn on Chapman (a short cab ride...it's further than Belisle's) that my ex and I enjoyed often. There's a Japanese/sushi place called Yoshi's that is right down the street from the Marriott that is pretty good. Enjoy!
