It's gotten to the point where ITALIAN might almost be considered mainstream vs. ethnic, but many feel that Biba's is one of the better restaurants in town. Its around 28th and Capitol.

Cal/Asian food in a really nice setting. Cool water- fall and nice interior, moderate prices. However the food had a decidedly 'corportate' feel to it. Actually it wasn't so good, now that I remember more. Sorry! Good asian food, bad appetizers. I know that Piatti has opened a store in Sacto, and I love their place in Napa. Great Cal/Ital food in Napa, but haven't tried the one in Sacramento. Hope it helps a little. Eric Herbert [email removed]
