We went to dinner last night at the Red Sea (on First Street in San Jose) for the first time in, probably, a year. It used to be fun to go there. Food was served in piles on pieces of injera (is that how it's spelled?) lining a huge tray (you scooped up what you wanted with your fingers using a piece of torn off injera) and the food was pretty spicey. No longer. Now your food comes on individual plates (with knives and forks!) and the spice comes in the two little bitty separate cups of red and green stuff (now, what fun is that?). The food on the plates was absolutely bland. And so another one bites the dust...
