Sometimes life isn't fair. This is such a case. This place serves incredibly good Persian food (including a wide variety of dishes I've never seen anywhere else, along with the old favorites like kabobs), the prices are absurdly low considering the quality, the owner is very friendly, and the place never seems to have any customers. Except us, of course--we seem to wind up there at least once every two weeks. It seems to be our secret, but we'd like others to find out about the place so it can stay in business so we can continue to eat there regularly. Karoun is located in the old Tacos Al Pastor location, across Bascom from the new Tacos Al Pastor location, and about 100 feet south of the Pink Poodle and San Carlos.
