Rangoli A Welcome Change!!!

Hi,

after years of visiting indian restaurants which all fitted the description, pay-7-dollars-allucaneat-all-taste-the-same-waiters-with-attitude

which serve soggy naan from one of their buffet trays.............

Rangoli is a welcome change.

They have lunch specials, which are thaali (plate) style.

You choose the entree from a combo of 4 items, per meat/shrimp/veggie.

The entree is served with rice, raita and some
side dish. Plus you get a freshly prepared hot naan, which is served hot to your table.

the entrees were not greasy, the meat was good and looked and smelled fresh.

they do have a biriyani (rice entree) selection too.

There are just two people who are running the show, so no problems with the waiters here.

Coming from india, i highly recommend this place for the freshness, taste and service.

it is located on halford ave, on elcamino, behind the fish market and near chicago pizza.

I do not own the place. I wish though!

sun.
