Old-style Italian in North Beach?

Columbus moved to the marina, on fillmore south of chestnut. I thought it was better than the old place but it was having a difficult time attracting business. North Beach remodeled about a year ago and you will end up spending more. I liked the "look" but did not like the food. Contadina would probably be the best bet. It is a little more upscale and the food is good. Although Tavolino is not "old style" it is a great place to while away the afternoon - good wine selection.
