There's Joannie's on California St. in Palo Alto. Atmosphere is very relaxed. Basically sandwiches, breakfast, etc, served all day. Really good food (I recommend the eggs benedict). Definite approval from myself and another French co-worker. It's a bit small, so be prepared to wait if you go at noon. I think the place next door is owned by the same people, but I've never eaten there. It looks a bit more formal. Lawrence
