I don't know if their heritage is Lebanese, but a take-out place called Felafel Drive-In at the east end of Stevens Creek Blvd. (just before it becomes San Carlos Ave. in San Jose) has good felafel and a tasty version of kebbe. Among real restaurants, Sahari is a very nice Egyptian restaurant which has some similar items; in case it meets your purposes, it is located on Fremont about a block south of the road which is DeAnza Blvd in Cupertino (although the ac- tual location may be in Sunnyvale). I don't think you'll do much better in the Bay Area for Middle Eastern food. [You don't say what locality you're looking in, but your mail address sounds like Silicon Valley....]

Patisserie et Restaurant De L'Orient, corner of Cote Vertu &
Decarie in Ville St Laurent. Sigh. Home style cafeteria and
      baklava to die for.
Oh well, not being up the whazoo in snow for six months of the
year almost makes up for it.

I believe it is and heartily recommend them even if the guy at the
      window does screw up sometimes.

Sorry, no. Definitely on Fremont, not on or near El Camino.
