Bill: On the North Shore, try the following: The Soule Domain (Crystal Bay) - great Continental food, dark-woodsy setting. Christy Hill (115 Grove Street, Tahoe City) - Californian style, right on the lake, modern setting with great lake views. We thought that The Soule Domain had excellent food, but we prefered the atmosphere of Christy Hill. We believe that the best restaurant in all of Lake Tahoe is Evan's American Gourmet Cafe (89 Street in South Lake Tahoe). Bright, airy, single room (they might have a patio, we went in the winter), seating about 50 patrons. California style. Great presentation. We're looking forward to going back there. Ed
