. . . is at 336 O'Farrell Street, a brightly-lit, pleasant place with little patronage. It's a tough location. We chose it because it was unknown to us, it was en route, and we had little time. The people inside saw us looking at the outdoor menu and when we walked through the door were were enthusiastically greeted by two Japanese women who were obviously pleased that we had chosen to patronize them. Although each had a thick accent, their English was quite good. I chose to have Sukiyaki and she a light vegetable dish. The beef Sukiyaki was, for my taste, a bit sweet but not so sweet that I had trouble eating it. The salad was excellent and her vegetables were served as sushi's served, surrounded with rice wrapped in seaweed, were excellent. The rice, tea, and miso soup were ordinary. Although the prices are just a bit higher than usual for such places, they were not out of line and I felt the value left nothing about which to complain.
The restrooms were clean and well maintained with very hot water. They appeared to be shared with other businesses.
It's not great, but it's not bad. You might like it.
