My family and I had dinner at the House of Siam this Friday after a very long time, and I do think that their food is pretty good. I had had lunch here with my office workers and had their fried rice that comes in half-a-pineapple and enjoyed it very much. Overall I think their food is on a par with ThepThai just down the street, but a little cheaper. Some little things that stand out: served the beer in a warm glass(I want mine in a chilled mug that still has mist from sitting in a cooler!), the food was just enough for 4 people, the attitude of the server was not exactly friendly. I'm used to ordering by calling out the numbers in the menu, but when I did, she retorted with "what is that?" always. Isn't what I did easier than trying to pronounce some practically unpronounceable words?

Anyway, I wouldn't say I'm exactly disappointed but, considering the nice ambiance, taste of food, and the misted beer mug I get, I favour ThepThai overall.
