House (Asian-American fusion, in the Sunset on 9th north of Irving) has some really fine fish. Last night two of us had butterfish (sablefish, not pomfret), and a third had rare tuna. We all literally gasped at how good it was. The tuna in particular was more flavorful by a long shot than any I've had for a long time; if all rare tuna were that good, it would justify how trendy it is. Excellent tea, too, and a very entertaining wine/beer/aperitif list, e.g. there's a selection of white wines intended for spicy food. The only blot on the experience was the rushed staff, but we just cheerfully refused to give up our plates before we were done.
