Hot Food suggestions?

Try a barbecue place. Get to know the chef, and complain that the hot sauce isn't nearly hot enough. I did this at Carmen and Family Barbeque in Hayward, and the results were quite impressive.

Try the Hunan Taste on Castro in Mountain View.  Hot dishes are ranked with stars.  Go for the 3*+ ones.  Their food is generally good, imo better than the restaurant with the same name, but different owner, near downtown San Jose.
