My own favorite (at the moment) is Ambrosia Garden in Albany, California, next door to Berkeley: http://www.ambrosiagarden.com You can take a look at their menu here: http://www.ambrosiagarden.com/menu.htm I find that their "Roasted Chicken" (which is really not chicken) is a very good dish, along with their "Cashew Chicken" (again, "mock" chicken).
