I've always though Domenico's was the nicest of the Wharf restaurants.

It's nice to hear that the meat dishes are tasty; though tempted, we have always settled on one of the seafood choices. I'm especially fond of the Smoked Salmon Linguine, but any of their specials should be worthwhile.

My wife is an oyster fan, and even if we aren't staying for dinner we hit their oyster bar to get her fix; though the precise makeup varies with the season, they normally have at least half a dozen different varieties of oyster available.

We both love the selection of Greek and Italian cured olives that comes as an appetizer (our 7 year old was disappointed - these are seed-in, and bitter). The Italian bread that comes with the olives is OK, but not memorable. When available, their squash soup should not be missed.

Their desserts look good, too, but we have never had enough room left to be seriously tempted. Their Domenico's Special coffee - really a brandy-laced coffee/cocoa mixture topped with whipped cream - makes a fine light desert, too.

I believe the same owners also run one of the larger Cannery Row restaurants - perhaps someone else here can fill in the name.
