There is an excellent Chinese restaurant a few blocks from our house that always has a steady trickle of customers, but which I think deserves considerably more business than they get. I think they make better food than anything on the much-ballyhooed Mt. View restaurant row, and at much cheaper prices. Everything is fresh and very flavorful, and there is no MSG. It is called "Yee Lim Restaurant", on 3160 The Alameda, Santa Clara. (408) 984-0645, right next to Santa Clara University on the western side, just before the road is blocked off for the campus. I have no affiliation whatsoever with this restaurant or anyone who works there. I just really love the food and want to see them prosper so I can always eat there.
