NNTP-Posting-User: spp Xref: ba.food:31417 Not to start a flame war, but the one time I went to Buffalo and had wings from a place alleged to be fairly original, the wings were in fact superior to what I've seen around here. Common wing defects in the bay area are: (1) The wings sometimes have a crispy, or even batter-fried texture. Ideally, they should instead be cooked to a smooth rather than a crispy condition. (2) The blue cheese dressing is often low on blue cheese. (In fact, some places substitute ranch dressing for blue cheese dressing, which is a real abomination.) That being said, I think you can still get good wings at Chestnut St. Bar & Grill, in the Marina. Steve
