Your best bet is some of the English/Scottish/Irish pubs. You'll get steak and mushroom pie or steak and oinion pie, but you'll be lucky to find kidney. I recently went to St James Gate, in Belmont on the Old Country Road, and they have reasonable British fare. They also had (Irish) potato bread for breakfast, so I'm going back to try that. It's hard to find anywhere outside Ireland. Hope it's good. Also the Duke of Edinburgh or the Prince of Wales served decent food. Can't remember which one though. For ok food but a great location, the White Cockade(?) on highway 9 is hard to beat. They have British beer too. There's a British 'newspaper' called the Union Jack you can pick up free in some of the British pubs. Read that for more tips. Gringoire wrote: > > Is there any British restaurants on the Peninsula?
