Brewpubs?

 Best food is in the downtown San Diego location.
 Best setting is the Sorrento Valley location (a former Japanese
 restaurant overlooking a pond with koi, etc.) Also has a erally good
 weekend brunch, although they don't really brew much at this location.

 San Diego has several others, plus some in La Jolla, Pacific Beach (?),
 Encinitas area...

 Sounds like road trip time.
