As I remember it, Tres Amigos is mainly just a taqueria, although it's been a couple of years and they may have added some dishes. As I recall, they had okay burritos and tacos, and good steak and chicken plates. I used to stop here on evening drives from San Francisco to Santa Cruz.

Until I discovered that the decrepit, run-down drive-in restaurant right next door to Tres Amigos served _really great_ burritos (sorry, can't remember the name). Then I stopped going to Tres Amigos. This other place looks like you could pick up ptomaine just by breathing the air, but I never had any problems and the burritos, as stated earlier, were superior.

they also have a _great_ brunch on sundays - the ladies get a flower

check on their opening times - they have a nice bar area too that serves up quick foods and appetisers - note: the place used to be known as a rum-runners stop - it has some great history

mixed emotions about this place - personnally think its overrated
