I just had quite a good dinner at Little Tung's (in the school building in front of the cinemas on the corner of Capitol and Berryessa). Very good service--like good restaurants in Taiwan, they exchange your plate when it gets too messy, timing was good, etc. Good food--we had shrimp fresh from the tank (apologies to vegetarians), quick boiled and served with a simple dipping sauce. Yum. Good prices ($7-9 entrees, $10-16 fresh seafood). You'd think San Jose would be crawling with good Chinese places, but until now, the better-than-average places only start appearing 15 miles north (Mountain View). I have no connection to Little Tung's--I'd just like to see a good product rewarded (and a good restaurant close by stay open and thrive :-). Dave Hsu, [email removed]
