the specialty of Kansas City is their BBQ... Try Haywards in Overland Park.. they have great BBQ, go early, because it fills up fast with natives... it's an upscale place as far as BBQ places go.. the food is excellent

My advice would be to go to Metropolis on Westport Road. One of my favorite restaurants anywhere!
