It is a very popular but moderately priced restaurant that can give you a taste of the style of "pork" barbeque that Memphians are so proud of. The Rendevous is another barbeque restaurant that you might want to try if you are in the downtown area. Their barbeque ribs are very good and the atmosphere is better than Corky's. It is also right down an alley from The Peabody Hotel, another place you should probably visit if for no other reason than to have a drink (even a soft-drink) in the lobby bar. The Peabody also has a pastry shop called Cafe Espresso that is great for a late night snack or dessert. Write back to me if you are going to be in Memphis for a bit more time and I will try to help with a few more hints. Bill p.s. try a midnight tour of Federal Express's Memphis hub for a real treat!
